G Malkos Raga
G · B♭ · C · E♭ · F
Derived from the North Indian raga Malkauns, G Malkos Raga uses the root, minor third, fourth, flat sixth, and flat seventh. Dropping the fifth entirely gives it a floating, meditative quality quite unlike the Western minor pentatonic it otherwise resembles. Rewarding for slow, expressive playing rather than fast lines.
Left-handed
