Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Jamtrackers can share your details — including your email address — with music-industry partners who pay us for them. Under California law that counts as a “sale”, and you have the right to stop it. This page is how.

It almost certainly isn’t happening to you already. We only ever share the details of people who have specifically opted in, wherever in the world they live — so unless you ticked the box when you signed up or turned it on in Settings, nothing about you has ever been sent to a partner. The switch below tells you which you are.

Turning it off takes effect immediately, applies to everything we send from that point on, and changes nothing else. You keep every feature, at the same price — free — and we won’t ask you again.

What this covers

Your email address, username and name; the photo, cover photo and bio on your profile; the practice profile you filled in during onboarding — instruments, genres, skill level, how long you’ve been playing, practice habits, gear, age bracket, country and city — and which tracks, chords, scales and tools you favourite.

Because partners get your email address, they may contact you directly. Turning this off stops us sending anything further, but can’t retract what a partner already has — you may need to unsubscribe from them directly as well, and we’ll pass on a deletion request to every partner we sent your data to if you email us.

It never covers your password, any audio you’ve uploaded, or your IP address. Those are never shared with anyone, whatever this switch is set to. The Privacy Policy has the full list.

Global Privacy Control

We honour Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser or a privacy extension sends one, we treat it as an opt-out request automatically — you don’t need to visit this page at all, and we won’t override it.

Wherever you live

We hold everyone to the same standard — the strictest one, which is the GDPR’s. We could lawfully share US users’ details by default and rely on this page to let them opt out afterwards. We don’t: nobody is included until they have said yes. You also have the right to object to direct marketing at any time, which we and every partner must honour.

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email jamtrackers@gmail.com. We’ll respond within the time the law allows — one month under the GDPR, 45 days under the CCPA. An authorised agent may act for you if you give them written permission and we can verify it.
