G♯ Hungarian Major

G♯ · A♯♯ · B♯ · C♯♯ · D♯ · E♯ · F♯
Built from the root, raised second, major third, raised fourth, fifth, sixth, and flat seventh, G♯ Hungarian Major is a bright but strongly altered dominant scale. It's closely related to the half-whole diminished scale and shares much of its character. Used in Hungarian folk music and by jazz players over dominant chords needing extra colour.
