B In-sen
B · C · E · F♯ · A
B In-sen combines the root, flat second, fourth, fifth, and flat seventh — essentially a minor pentatonic with the flat second replacing the minor third. Removing the third leaves it hovering between modes, and the flat second supplies the tension. Widely used in Japanese music and a striking option over suspended or phrygian harmony.
Left-handed
