A Minor Bebop
A · B · C · D · E · F · G · G♯
A Minor Bebop adds a chromatic major seventh to the natural minor scale, so the flat and natural sevenths sit side by side. That eighth note keeps chord tones on the strong beats in running lines, and it also connects natural minor to harmonic minor in one shape. Useful over minor tonic chords in jazz.
