Nine lessons for someone who owns a guitar and can't yet play a song on it. Power chords, the four open chords most of rock is built from, the F chord everybody gets stuck on, downstroke drive, low-string riffs, and a first solo with real bends — every one of them played against a backing track from the first lesson onwards, because playing alone in a room is why most beginners quit.
